Mizzica’s gelato is inspired by the flavors and culture of their hometown in Italy. They take pride in using local ingredients and honoring the traditions of their community. The family-owned gelateria and cafe in downtown Toronto’s heart offers freshly made gelato and a variety of Italian pastries, cakes, and coffee for everyone to savor.

There was a queue to enter the store, but the wait was surprisingly brief. My friends and I waited for approximately 15 minutes, but it was well worth it. We were allowed to taste test up to two flavors, and although the honeydew and strawberry shortcake didn’t wow me, my friend Josh’s recommendation of the Stracciatella flavor turned out to be truly amazing.
