I’m going on my first vacation with my boyfriend to Dublin and Belfast next month. After much anticipation, I can hardly wait to explore the vibrant culture and rich history of these incredible cities. My three years of event planning and making runsheets have prepared me to create a thorough and engaging itinerary for this trip.
Nonetheless, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has good recommendations for must-visit attractions, local eateries, and hidden gems that might not be on the typical tourist path. I’m particularly interested in experiencing the local music scene, historical landmarks, and perhaps taking a scenic day trip to the stunning countryside surrounding these cities. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated to make our getaway truly unforgettable!
I’ve only started planning Dublin and these are on my list to go to:
- Omma Matcha
- Book of Kells Experience
- The Stafs Head
- The Temple Bar
- Cloud Cafe
- Molly Malone Statue
- Merrion Square Park
- Bambinos
- National Gallery of Ireland
- Kennedy’s Puub
- Silver Works
- Guinness Storehouse
- The Brazen Head
- St Patrick’s Cathedral
- Georges Street Arcade
- Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre
- Bigfan
